When you think of Mexico, you think of the city of mysteries. It’s full of color, magic, and tacos. Maybe having my first trip to Ensenada on Thanksgiving week was the great excuse to explore more in detail that magic area of Baja California, Mexico.
I admit I had some expectations based on the past times I visited Rosarito since they are close to each other. This little touristic town as locals describes it has way more than just small streets and awesome seafood. Ensenada is also associated with the vineyards in Valle of Guadalupe, or also called “North of France in Mexico.”
I’m here today to tell you about those places that you might have or not hear about it. As a foodie lover want to show you the cool spots we found and for a great price (yea, eating is cheaper in Mexico if you also might have or never heard of that) our trip started with our first stop for lunch in Puerto de la Boca, Rosarito. This mini area full of restaurants and little stores by the beach, not only combines the best ocean view, but also one of the best seafood meals. By that I mean you can have both things at an affordable price (a.k.a college budget), and I don’t think you can ask for anything else. Or maybe you do, if all you want to add to this combo are cheap margaritas and lobster. At that point, I think you are fulfilling that “Mexican life”.
I’m sure the pictures can’t fool you about that, and this is just the beginning. Some of the places we had dinner were at the center of the city, like Papas & Beer, famous for its nightclub.
Moving on to “DIA 2”, started with a morning walk to La Hermosa Beach. The pictures speak for themselves when it comes to the breathtaking view.
e is where one starts and Colombia is that place I still call “home”. So, I want to welcome you’all to enjoy all the cool “stuff” of both of these worlds!
